Welcome to our Breakfast club and Afterschool club! We are looking forward to seeing the children at the start of the new year and providing a warm welcome to all our families.

Wyvern Staff  

Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club will take place each morning in the sports hall and is open to all year groups. Due to the planned building work beginning in September, we kindly ask that parents access the school via the back gate for ease of entry during this period.

Breakfast will be served daily and will include a selection of cereal, toast, fruit and yoghurt giving children a nutritious and energising start to the day.

Afterschool Club

Afterschool Club will run across both school halls:

•  EYFS & KS1 children will be based in the main hall
•  KS2 children will be based in the sports hall

 All children will be collected from the main school reception unless parents have made prior arrangements to collect their child directly from their specific hall.

A healthy snack will be provided daily between 3:45 and 4:15pm, in line with the National Healthy Food Guidelines for EYFS Click here for further information and the Eatwell Guide . All allergies and dietary needs will be carefully accounted for. Please see below examples of afternoon snacks that could be offered:

 Wyvern Club will offer a wide range of engaging activities, including:

•  Weekly themed craft
• Games and free play
• Access to outdoor spaces, weather permitting
• Gardening in our Eco garden
• Baking

Medication

If your child requires medication such as an inhaler or EpiPen, we kindly ask that you provide a spare set specifically for Wyvern Club. These will be stored securely and readily accessible, as school-day medication is often locked away and not immediately available after hours.
